Tina Robbins is a new addition to our vision therapy team. She is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy (OT). Her experience as a licensed OT practitioner was initially in rehabilitation medicine assisting individuals with traumatic brain injury to recover visual motor skills and independence in daily activities. Through her most recent work in the public school setting, Tina discovered how important a student's visual system is in achieving success in academics and in life. She is pleased to work alongside Brooke in providing purposeful and engaging therapy to children who need assistance in developing visual motor and visual processing skills along with adults whose visual systems have been negatively impacted by injury. Tina continues to build her vision therapy skills through conferences and training opportunities in order to help others obtain a more functional and fulfilling life.
